Definitions/comments

Question wording: “Are you in favour of raising or lowering taxes on high income?” Percentages correspond to the shares of respondents who are in favour of an increase.
Educational levels: low: ISCED 0-2 (compulsory schooling, pre-vocational education); intermediate:ISCED 3-4 (apprenticeship, matura); high: ISCED 5-6 (higher vocational training, university, other tertiary).
Political orientation: self-evaluation on a scale from 0 (left) to 10 (right): left: values 0-3, right: values 7-10.
