Definitions/Comments:

Unemployed (international definition) = people without a job who are in search of a job and willing to accept a new position. Registered unemployed (definition by Seco) = people without a job who are registered with a regional job centres (RAV) and are placeable. Registered job seekers (Seco) = unemployed and employed people who are registered with a regional job centre (RAV) and are looking for a job. Underemployed = members of the working population who work part time and would like to work more and who would be available to work additional hours within 3 months (the latter is an additional criterion since 2004, which is why there is a break in the line).
