Definitions/Comments:
Average gross annual salary (i.e. before taxes and deductions for social insurance) of a fulltime single employee. Both the private and public sector (federation, cantons, districts, municipalities, public corporations, churches) are taken into account.
Sample size: approx. 35 000 companies, stratified sample
